Bases Concurso Leaving Footprint 2019

Tuesday, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. Organized by Peña Kapikua

Place of Celebration: Palace of the Carnival (CERE)

  1. The objective of this contest is the exhibition of disguised animals accompanied by their owners.
  2. To participate, you must register at the Casa de la Cultura until March 1, providing the owner’s name, the name of the pet and the title of the theme they represent. The contest will consist of 20 places.
    *If you are in places, from Day 1 until March 4 at 13:00 pm, the registrations will be made via Facebook: Kapikua Miguelturra (by private message).
  3. You can participate any animal you want, regardless of breed, species and size (dogs, chickens, horses, cats, goats, rabbits …).
  4. It will be valued that the participating owners go disguised the same or the same theme as their pet.
  5. The owners will be the only responsible for any altercation that your animal may produce.
    The owners are obliged to have the necessary means to collect the depositions of their animals and keep the place of the contest clean.
  6. Participants must be 15 minutes before the start of the contest to verify that the requirements are met and provide documentation if necessary (Dogs and cats: veterinary card, and for all other short leash).
  7. Those participants that the organization considers that there is any type of animal mistreatment will be disqualified.
  8. The jury will be made up of qualified and knowledgeable people. It will be taken into account at the time of scoring the presence, the design, fantasy and sympathy of the costume. The jury’s decision will be unappealable.

  10. Participation in the contest will mean full acceptance of all the bases.
    No prize can be deserted.
Bases XXXVI Contest in Frying Pan Fruit

Monday, March 4 at 12:00 h. Organized by Peña Los Rocheros

  1. Participants can register at the Carnival Palace (CERE) until half an hour before the contest, which will be at 12:30. No person under the age of 18 can register.
  2. To cover the expenses, each registered participant will be helped with 5 euros for flowers, barquillos, borrachuelas and rosquillas (2 modalities) and 10 euros for roscapiña that will have to have a diameter of not less than 25 cm and must be presented properly at the discretion of the organization.
  3. Each contestant will present a plate with 6 units with each of the two specialties to which it is presented (borrachuelas, flores, barquillos and rosquillas). Only those contestants who come personally providing name, surname and D.N.I, not admitting the registration by third parties will be admitted.
  4. The following awards are established:
    1st and 2nd of Roscapiña
    1st and 2nd of Flores
    1st and 2nd of Barquillos
    1st and 2nd of Rosquillas
    1st and 2nd of Borrachuelas
     
    The 1st prizes will receive 60 euros sponsored by the City Council of Miguelturra.
    The 2nd prizes will be sponsored by “El Colmao” of the town, with a lot of typical products, valued at 40 euros each lot.
    All the winners will receive a carnival pottery and a liquor box sponsored by “La Gaditana”
     
  5. Once the contest is over and the prizes have failed, the entire audience will be given a tasting of the products of the contest and a tasty lemon, from our friend Octavio.
  6. The pieces must be brought home, the presentation and tasting will be rewarded.
  7. To participate, you must accredit the age of majority.
Masked Volleyball Bases 2019

Sunday, March 3 at 4:30 p.m. Organized ADV Miguelturra and Peña El Bufón

  1. All people over 16 years old, organized in teams of 4 people, will be able to participate. At all times there will be 3 players on the track and one on the bench.
  2. The teams may be male, female or mixed, without distinction of category.
  3. They must register at least 4 teams to celebrate the tournament. Otherwise, it will be suspended. The maximum number of teams will be 20, chosen by strict order of inscription.
  4. All participants must go in disguise.
  5. The competition system will be “king of the track” with a maximum of three games followed by a team. You can re-enter to play as many times as you want during the 2 hours of activity.
  6. The matches will be played in a single set of 11 points.
  7. It will be played following the official rules of beach volleyball.
  8. The inscriptions will be made in the same place of realization of the activity from one hour before the start of the same until 15 minutes before the start.
  9. Awards:
    Winner of the Tournament¹: 50 euros, sponsored and exchangeable in Las Tejas Restaurant
    Team best disguised: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable at Cafetería Ramón
    Most fun team²: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable at Café-Bar Los Arcos
  10. The jury will be composed of members of the El Bufón and ADV Miguelturra.
  11. The decision of the jury will be unappealable, and may be desert prizes.
  12. The organization is not responsible for any injury or accident that may occur during the event.
  13. The participants authorize the organizers to take photographs and / or videos of the participants during the event, which can then be used in public media (internet, press …) for promotional and informative purposes.
  14. Participation in the contest means acceptance of these rules.

III Showcase Contest

The following awards are established: To originality and innovation, the best composition and traditional design, and a special award from the public .

 

  1. The area of celebrations in collaboration with the area of economic promotion, the Cultural Association Peñas de Carnaval and the Association of Small Trade, convene the third contest of Carnival showcases of the commercial establishments of our locality, to To encourage and reward traders who, with their efforts, support the promotion and enhancement of the image of the trade with a special decoration of their windows, creating a pleasant carnival environment of purchase during these dates, giving an incentive Added to local trade.
  2. All retailers and wholesalers of Miguelturra and all establishments with a showcase, such as an office office, training centres, among others, may participate in the competition.
  3. The inscription in the contest will be free, having to be done in the House of Culture of Miguelturra. The registration period will be from 4 to 15 February 2019.
  4. The trade will have to have its showcase prepared on February 18 until March 10, 2019.
  5. The jury appointed by the organization will visit the participating shops during the period established in the previous base on Thursday, March 7 and will announce its verdict in the award ceremony that will take place on March 8 in the act of the XXXIV Contest of costumes “Carnival Museum”.
    The names of the winning shops will be published on the website of the City Council of Miguelturra and will be called by telephone on Friday, March 8 to attend the award ceremony.
    The decision of the jury will be unappealable.
  6. Three prizes will be awarded, with one remaining deserted if the jury deems it appropriate:
    – Award for originality and innovation. Travel gift voucher. Sponsored by Distribuciones Sacra, valued at 150 euros.
    – Award for composition and traditional design. Travel gift voucher. Sponsored by Viajes Rodrigo and Rodrigo’s Inmobiliaria, valued at 150 euros.
    – Special prize from the public. Travel gift voucher. Sponsored by the City Council of Miguelturra, valued at 150 euros. All of them will be endowed with 30 advertising spots on Radio Miguelturra and an announcement of 8 by 11 centimeters in the Municipal Information Bulletin of April 2019, mask of the carnival and a diploma of accreditation. Special prize of the public, will be available from February 18 until 2:00 pm on March 5, from an urn located in the House of Culture, which may enter the voucher filled and stamped by the participating establishment in the contest.
    All people who deposit their vouchers in the box, will participate in the draw of three vouchers of purchase valued at 50 euros each voucher, which will be granted by Sacra Distribuciones, Viajes Rodrigo and Rodrigo’s Inmobiliaria and the Association of Small Commerce respectively, to redeem in any establishment participating in the contest.
  7. The owners or owners of the establishments participating in the contest will not be eligible for the draw. The communication of the winners will be made by telephone and will be made public by the municipal media. The prizes are not accumulative.
