Rules XL Contest of “Chirigotas and Comparsas”

Friday February 16, after the Costumes contest “Carnival Museum”.

Venue: Carnival Palace (CERE).

  1. All groups or clubs that wish to take part may take part, provided they have a minimum of 10 members. The number of groups is limited to a maximum of 7. The order of the performances will be in charge of the organization.
  2. The performance of each group may not exceed 20 minutes.
  3. The jury will take into account punctuality and non-interference in the proper development of the contest.
  4. Participants will register the week before the Contest is held, sending 3 copies of the lyrics to be interpreted to the Casa de Cultura, calle Perlerines, 26 de Miguelturra.
  5. Awards:
    1st Prize: 600 euros
    2nd Prize: 450 euros
    3rd Prize: 400 euros sponsored by Distri Sacra
    4th Prize: 250 euros
    5th Prize: 200 eurosThe rest of the prizes are sponsored by the Town Council of Miguelturra.
  6. During the contest, a competent jury, will fail the prize.
