A busy sunday
Diana, chocolate, children’s carnival, lunch with clubs, masked volleyball and brass band parade on the first Sunday of carnival.
An intense first Sunday of carnival that opened with the carnival reveille of the Peña El Jamón, while the Peña Los Maltrataos offered delicious chocolate and biscuits in the Plaza de España.
Under the organization of the Peña El Bufón, at mid-morning the children accompanied by their families, gathered in the Constitution Square, to later start the parade to the Carnival Palace, where hundreds of boys and girls enjoyed the children’s show ‘Sing games Heading to the Stars’.
In the afternoon, in the Doctor Fleming park, the Masked Volleyball was held, organized by the ADV Miguelturra and the Celebration Area of the Miguelturra Town Hall.
Throughout the day the Peñas de Los Cansaliebres, Rocheros, Kapikúa and Alhiguí, have set the main carnival streets of the town, offering various dishes to be tasted, the brass bands Kata Pum Chinpum, Those who never Fail, Los Desmadraos and Alhiguí have set the musical note on this first and intense Sunday of carnival.
