Last Saturday, February 11, clubs and authorities support Charo, Leandro, Encarni and José Luis, as the next 2023 Major Masks.

Peñas and lovers of the Miguelturra Carnival celebrate the traditional brotherhood dinner at the Carnival Palace.

With the presence of components of the local carnival peñas, members of the Cultural Association of Carnival Peñas of Miguelturra, King of Carnival, Serafín Delgado, Mayor of the town, Laura Arriaga, councilor for festivities, Diego Rodríguez and different components of the Municipal Corporation, this traditional dinner is celebrated, endorsing and supporting what will be the next Major Masks of the Carnival of Miguelturra 2023.

Prior to dinner, both Laura Arriaga, Serafín Delgado and the President of the Peñas Association, Raúl Domínguez, wished the best to these two new couples of Major Masks, which will be number 49 and 50, since the establishment of this figure carnival in 1981.

It should be remembered that from 1981 to 1987, two pairs of Major Masks were chosen, it is from 1988 when only one is chosen. This year 2023, this possibility of two couples is recovered again, always in an exceptional and justified way, as is the case of Chato and Rayo, who together with Encarni and Charo, will form two extraordinary and highly anticipated couples of Major Masks.
