Once the Carnival Museum Costume Competition was over, the Chirigotas and Comparsas Contest of the Carnival of Miguelturra 2024 began in its fortieth edition.

The picaresque, the jokes, the political change in Miguelturra, the criticism of national, regional and local politicians, the main themes of the chirigotas.

The Cansaliebres, in one of their verses and in a very moving way, paid a small tribute to our beloved Santos Fernández, as well as to the three kings of the carnival, José Gornés, Amalio Segura and Serafín Delgado.
