It is already known who will be responsible, through its advertising poster, for putting on a face and promoting the Miguelturra Carnival 2017. Thus, Cristóbal Aguiló Domínguez with his work “The dream of a carnival pastry chef” has been the winner of this contest that was decided on the afternoon of January 3 at the Casa de Cultura de Miguelturra.

On this occasion, the jury was made up of: Diego Rodríguez Tercero, councilor for Festejos, Raúl Domínguez Donate, president of the Cultural Association “Peñas del Carnaval” and José Luis Sobrino Pérez, graphic designer, with the public vote being consultative. Acting as secretary, with voice and without vote, Marcial González Rivero, coordinator of the Culture and Celebrations area.

After viewing and analyzing the 31 works submitted, the competition jury decided that “The dream of a carnival pastry chef” was the best poster to represent these Festivals of Regional Tourist Interest, which will begin on February 23.

In this way Cristóbal Aguiló Domínguez will receive the only prize, endowed with 1,000 euros and a souvenir of the contest, which the Miguelturra City Council will give him for his work on the day of the proclamation, when he will go on stage once the carnival has been inaugurated.
