The event was attended by local authorities, senior masks from 2016, and those from previous years. The Carnival King, members of the local Pe\u00f1as (Clubs), and representatives of the Pe\u00f1as Association were also present.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On stage and in the presence of the mayor, Victoria Sobrino, the celebration councilor, Diego Rodr\u00edguez, the King of Carnival, Seraf\u00edn Delgado and the President of the Association of Pe\u00f1as, Ra\u00fal Dom\u00ednguez, the major masks of 2016 Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1oz and Mercedes Rivas, have awarded the accreditation band of Major Masks of the Miguelturra Carnival 2017 to Jos\u00e9 Ca\u00f1izares and Antonia Nieto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The outgoing senior masks, Jos\u00e9 and Mercedes, have expressed their gratitude for the support they received from their predecessors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jos\u00e9 Ca\u00f1izares and Antonia Nieto, great carnival enthusiasts, also expressed their gratitude to all those who have supported them in being here today. They stated that they will do their best to live up to the standards of their predecessors in the masked couples as representatives of the Churriego carnival. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From now on, Jos\u00e9 and Antonia will become part of the great carnival family of the Major Masks Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div  class='flex_column
