The contest&#8217;s objective, as explained by the Councilor for Festivities, &#8220;is to incentivize and reward merchants who, through their efforts, support the promotion and improvement of their business image with special window decorations. This creates a pleasant shopping atmosphere during these holidays and provides an added incentive for local businesses.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For his part, Miguel Fern\u00e1ndez stated that &#8220;working together means the event will succeed, empowering not only this competition but also the stakeholders involved, starting with small businesses and continuing with the local festivities.&#8221; Something that Ramos has corroborated, who has recalled &#8220;that investing in small businesses is investing in the people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, Soria has declared &#8220;that everything that is promoting the biggest party in the town, such as carnival, will be supported by the Association of Pe\u00f1as.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The rules state that all retail and wholesale establishments in Miguelturra are eligible to participate in the competition. This also applies to those with a display window, such as an office, training center, etc. <\/p>\n<h4>Free registration<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Registration for the contest will be free, and must be done at the House of Culture of Miguelturra. The registration period runs from February 1 to 10, 2017. Businesses must have their window displays ready by February 15, 2017, and by March 5, 2017. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The jury, appointed by the organization, will visit participating businesses during the period established in the previous rule, on Thursday, March 2. They will announce their verdict at the awards ceremony, which will take place on March 4 at the Drag Gala. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The names of the winning businesses will be published on the City Council website www.miguelturra.es and they will be called by phone on Friday, March 3 to attend the award ceremony. The jury&#8217;s decision will be unappealable.<\/p>\n<h4>Awards<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three prizes will be awarded, with one remaining vacant if the jury deems it appropriate.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Originality and innovation<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Better composition and design<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Audience Special<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All of them will be endowed with 30 advertising spots on Radio Miguelturra and an 8 by 11 ad in the BIM (Municipal Information Bulletin) of April 2017, carnival mask and supporting diploma. The commercial houses Sacra Distribuciones e Inmobiliaria and Viajes Rodrigo will also give away a weekend gift voucher for each winner valued at 150 euros respectively.<\/p>\n<h4>Special Audience Award<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the special prize for the public, from February 15 until 2:00 p.m. on March 2, there will be a ballot box located in the Casa de Cultura, in which the population that buys or consumes in shops or Participating establishments will deposit their voucher filled out and stamped by the establishment. All people who deposit their vouchers in the urn will participate in the draw for three purchase vouchers valued at 50 euros each, which will be awarded by Sacra Distribuciones, Viajes Rodrigo and Rodrigo`s Inmobiliaria respectively, to be exchanged at any establishment participating in the contest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The owners of the establishments participating in the contest will not be eligible for the draw. The communication of the winners will be made by telephone and will be made public by the municipal media.
