The highlight will be a performance by the Cadiz-based comparsa <strong>&#8220;Araka la Kana&#8221; and the anthology by Juan Carlos Arag\u00f3n<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Juan Carlos Arag\u00f3n is one of the most renowned composers of the C\u00e1diz Carnival. He won his first award in 1999 with the chirigota Los Yesterdays, in 2002 with the comparsa Los Angeles Ca\u00eddos, <strong>in 2007 with the comparsa Araka la Kana<\/strong>, and in 2015 with the comparsa Los Millonarios. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Araka la Kana, led by Juan Carlos Arag\u00f3n Becerra, won first prize for comparsas at the COAC (Council of Accords), honoring Uruguayan comparsas. This first prize allowed them to tour Uruguay in April,<strong> sharing the stage with Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Gatussa Silva&#8217;s Uruguayan comparsa from Montevideo, &#8220;Araca la Cana<\/strong>.&#8221; They will also share the stage on June 7, 2007, at the Teatro Falla in C\u00e1diz for the Carnival Gala.  <\/p>\n<h4>Tickets are now available for purchase<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets can be purchased in advance for \u20ac10 at the following points of sale: Casa de Cultura and Fegop\u00e1n in Miguelturra, Patio de Mi Casa in Ciudad Real, Vip Padel in Malag\u00f3n, and Bar San Luis in Carri\u00f3n. Tickets are available at the door for \u20ac13. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event sponsors are: Miguelturra City Council, Onda Cero, and Autotrack Mercedes Benz. Kim Gym, Fegop\u00e1n, Alberto Soria Electrical Installations, Miguelturra Installations, Estrella Galicia, Dasego, Biluja, and the Marcos Bastante Veterinary Service are collaborating. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presentation ceremony, held in the plenary hall of Miguelturra Town Hall on Thursday, December 4, was attended by the Councilor for Celebrations, Diego Rodr\u00edguez, and the president of the Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres, Alberto Soria.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\"
