Miguelturra City Council, through the Department of Celebrations, opens the Call, under a competitive concurrence regime, for the awarding of the prizes for the Pi\u00f1ata Sunday contest of the Miguelturra Carnival 2022, a festival of National Tourist Interest, with the aim of promote carnival activity and promote and support initiatives that make the cultural life of the population grow. The call for the 2022 Awards is made public, which will be governed by the rules detailed below.<\/p>\n<h6>1.- OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of this call is to award various prizes on the occasion of the Miguelturra Carnival Pi\u00f1ata Sunday contest, a Festival of National Tourist Interest, for the promotion and growth of the population&#8217;s carnival activity.<\/p>\n<h6>2.- MODALITIES OF PARTICIPATION<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three modalities of participation are established, to which the groups must sign up previously:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>FLOATS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that do it with one or more floats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>COMPARSAS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that parade with a music band, musical group and\/or brass band, and that do not carry floats and music coming from public address equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MURGAS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that parade without live music or with music from public address equipment and that are not included in the previous categories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It will be the exclusive responsibility of each group to choose the category in which it considers it meets the established requirements.<\/p>\n<h6>3.- PRIZES<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following prizes and categories are established.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ALHIG\u00cd AWARD OF HONOR OF THE TOWN HALL<\/strong> to the best montage of the parade, float and comparsa. SPECIAL OF 2,500 Euros<\/p>\n<p><strong>FLOATS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1st Prize: 1.800 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. City hall<\/p>\n<p>2nd.- Prize: 1,300 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. City hall<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 1,000 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. City hall<\/p>\n<p>4th.- Prize: 500 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. City hall<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMPARSAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1st.- Prize: 900 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. City hall<\/p>\n<p>2nd.- Prize: 700 Euros. Sponsored by Hon. town hall<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 500 Euros. Sponsored by ITV Miguelturra &#8211; Hmnos. Fernandez Mohino<\/p>\n<p>4th.- Prize: 400 Euros. Sponsored by Preventiva Seguros<\/p>\n<p>5th.- Prize: 300 Euros. Sponsored by Juli\u00e1n Textiles and Justo Multicolor Painting Center<\/p>\n<p><strong>MURGAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1st.- Prize: 400 Euros. Sponsored by Globalcaja<\/p>\n<p>2nd.- Prize: 350 Euros. Sponsored by Cepsa &#8211; Carrefour &#8220;La Estrella&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 300 Euros. Sponsored by Pinturas Ruma S.L<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 300 Euros. Sponsored by Hardware store &#8220;Jes\u00fas Le\u00f3n Carrascosa&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 300 Euros. Sponsored by 3D3 Editors<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All participating groups that have met these rules will be presented with Ham, Cheese, &#8220;Bodegas Volver&#8221; Wine Case donated by Distribuidora Herv\u00e1s and ceramics from the Miguelturra Carnival 2022, provided they meet the established requirements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The organization will not pay any amount for travel subsidy or postage to the participants.<\/p>\n<h6>4.- PARTICIPANTS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PI\u00d1ATA SUNDAY NATIONAL FLOAT AND SHOW CONTEST<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1st.- All Pe\u00f1as, Associations or homogeneous groups of more than 20 people from all over the national territory may participate. The number of registrations will be limited&nbsp; <strong>to 40 by strict order of application<\/strong>, except for the clubs and groups awarded in the 2020 call, which are automatically registered although they must express their attendance. The non-ratification of the same will give place to the supporters clubs that remain in reserve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2\u00ba.- Registration, which will be free, will be held at the House of Culture of the Hon. Miguelturra City Council, Tel.: 926 241090, communicating the following information: name of the Association, number of members, name of the representative or spokesperson, DNI, address, telephone number and dimensions of the float (if it is carried), and category for which they compete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3\u00ba.- Each group must carry in front and in a prominent place a poster showing the town they come from and their name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4\u00ba.- The presence of animals in the parade must be previously approved by the Department of Celebrations, due to the possible risk of causing unforeseen accidents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5\u00ba.- Starting at 3:00 p.m. Civil Protection will be organizing the concentration that will take place in the vicinity of Parquesol, with the parade following the route: Streets Pozuelo, Carretas, Ancha, Carnaval, Spain Square and Don Jos\u00e9 Mora, ending in the vicinity of May 1 avenue. And the concentration will be at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6\u00ba.- The Pe\u00f1as or Associations must follow the instructions indicated by the Organization, Local Police and Civil Protection during the entire route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7\u00ba.- Failure to comply with the instructions may be subject, in the opinion of the Jury, to possible disqualification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8\u00ba.- The Jury will be made up of a number of people of recognized solvency and its decisions will be final. It will be valued in a special way and within each category, the float, the music, the choreography, the number of components and the costumes, as well as the originality, staging and good aesthetic taste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9\u00ba.- Each participating Pe\u00f1a, Association or Group may only opt for one prize in its category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10\u00ba.- The Jury may not leave any of the prizes void.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">11\u00ba.- The Prizes will be delivered at the end of the parade in the Carnival Palace (CERE) located in the Dr. Fleming Park. It is recommended that at least two members come up to the prize collection, dressed in the costumes of the parade. The payment of the prizes will be made after the Contest is held, and once the winners have provided the necessary data for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">12\u00ba.- All prizes will be subject to the withholdings provided by law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">13\u00ba.- Participation in the Contest supposes the acceptance of the previous bases.<\/p>\n<h6>5.- ADVERTISING<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The full text of this call can be accessed on the Miguelturra City Council website: www.ayto-miguelturra.es<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the publicity of any call subject to the General Subsidies Law, it will be given the widest possible dissemination among those who may be interested.<\/p>\n<h6>6.- MANAGEMENT BODY<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For any query or clarification of this call, you can contact the Department of Celebrations of the Hon. by what is established in its regulatory bases in this call, in what is not foreseen, Law 38\/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and its development provisions, the Execution Bases will apply of
