The Mission Chirigota, the gospel according to Santander'  height=\"533\" width=\"800\"  itemprop=\"thumbnailUrl\"  \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-3rywi4f-9736eb9c2d7fdb5dc103d37a08e4221f\">\n.flex_column.av-3rywi4f-9736eb9c2d7fdb5dc103d37a08e4221f{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0 0 0 0;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-3rywi4f-9736eb9c2d7fdb5dc103d37a08e4221f av_four_fifth  avia-builder-el-2  el_after_av_one_fifth  el_before_av_one_fifth  no_margin flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-lcxx75pq-1cba02b92edb3c0db27bef4e36d8c02c '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock blockquote'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-size: 1.235em; line-height: 1.5em; border-left-style: solid; border-left-width: 7px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; padding-left: 20px; border-color: #719430;\">Chirigota La Misi\u00f3n, the gospel according to Santander<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lcxxulps-34102161824ae69c4c5c14e03085ca54 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>The Pe\u00f1a los Cansaliebres returns again with the Pre-Carnival<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lcxy0c59-994df9a6e12a55c3621bbd5b70d2eda8 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the night of Saturday, January 14, after the stoppage due to the pandemic and at the Carnival Palace, the Churriego Pre-Carnival began at the hands of the Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres and the C\u00e1diz chirigota &#8220;The Mission, the gospel according to Santander&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some 500 people have witnessed the performance of this chirigota that last year was victorious at the COAC and in Miguelturra they have made the audience vibrate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La chirigota is directed by Manuel Santander Grosso (Manol\u00edn), lyrics by Carlos P\u00e9rez P\u00e9rez, Jos\u00e9 Manuel S\u00e1nchez Reyes and Manuel Santander Grosso, corresponding to the music by Carlos P\u00e9rez P\u00e9rez and Manuel Santander Grosso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the ceremony, the Mayor of the Town, Laura Arriaga and the President of the Pe\u00f1a los Cansaliebres, Alberto Soria, delivered some souvenirs from the Miguelturra Carnival, the traditional ceramic mask and the book &#8220;Know me, Miguelturra Carnival&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h6>An important group of sponsors<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The corresponding thanks were also made to the entities and companies that have sponsored and collaborated in the event, Miguelturra City Council, web portal carnavaldemiguelturra.es, Onda Cero Ciudad Real as official sponsor of the event, being collaborating companies, Gonavas Log\u00edstics, Bakery Pastries Fegop\u00e1n, Hotel San Juan, Marcos Quite Rojas Veterinary Services, Alberto Soria Electrical Installations, Constructions and Reforms Afanes, Biluja Serigraphy, Dasego Advisors and Rodrigo Travel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The end of the performance turned into a huge party. The members of the chirigota left the stage to sing with the audience two compositions by Manuel Santander Cahu\u00e9: &#8220;Con la Maldici\u00f3n&#8221; (With the Curse) from the 2019 chirigota &#8220;La maldici\u00f3n de la lapa negra&#8221; (The Curse of the Black Macaw) and &#8220;Me han dije que el amarillo&#8221; (They Told Me That Yellow) from the 1998 chirigota &#8220;La familia Pepperoni&#8221; (The Pepperoni Family). The latter has become the popular anthem of C\u00e1diz CF and was performed by members of the Pe\u00f1a los Cansaliebres.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div  class='flex_column
