line-height: 1.5em; border-left-style: solid; border-left-width: 7px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; padding-left: 20px; border-color: #719430;\">Flavors of Carnival 2023<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lddilnsm-3ab664167f562dacd7cf3b256b39e825 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>A second edition that comes loaded with great news<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lddkfxki-41e4bb164eeaef31f992f991122157f4 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Councilor for Celebrations, Diego Rodr\u00edguez, has presented the second edition of Flavors of Carnival, organized by the Celebrations Area of the Miguelturra City Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rodr\u00edguez, has expressed his satisfaction in this new edition that comes with great news and that has three basic pillars on which to base it: Dramatized Guided Tours of the Carnival, Cultural Days of the Miguelturra Carnival, What do you not know me! and Children&#8217;s Masterclass of Fruit in a Pan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Councilman of Festejo, explained that &#8220;the main objective is to investigate, discover and deepen the roots and singularities of our Carnival, from the most traditional to the most particular, focusing on what most identifies us as the people of Miguelturra, the carnival&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first dramatized guided tours, visitors will be able to discover the carnival area, with its epicenter in the Spain Square and its monument to Carnival, as well as the murals and the Momo (Carnival Museum).<\/p>\n<h5>These visits will be held in three days:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, February 3 at 9:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Sunday, February 5, at 12:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Friday, February 10, at 8:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of each of the visits a wine will be tasted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This dramatized tour will come from the local theater group Flauti Flauti and registration can be done by email at the following address: biblioteca@ayto-miguelturra.es<\/p>\n<p>The guided tours have the collaboration and sponsorship of Reconquista Winery, the Calatrava Cultural Park and the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real.<\/p>\n<p>Another of the activities of Flavors of Carnival 2023 will be the first Cultural Days of the Miguelturra Carnival, don&#8217;t you know me?, which will be held on Friday, February 3 at 5:30 p.m. and will take place in the exhibition hall of the Carnival Museum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These conferences will have four speakers who will analyze the carnival in different historical-cultural and festive aspects, and above all popular, in order to recover our hallmarks of this great party, the Councilor for Celebrations has assured.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The speakers will investigate the carnival as a social and cultural element of the town of Miguelturra, in order to use it as an inclusion and educational resource. In this way, Rodr\u00edguez continued, we want to encourage and promote one of the most important cultural and festive expressions in our town.<\/p>\n<h5>The speakers are people versed in the subject and will be:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esmeralda Mu\u00f1oz S\u00e1nchez<br \/>\nHigh school geography and history teacher and associate professor of history and contemporary history at UCLM<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Francisco Manuel Peco D\u00edaz<br \/>\nMusicologist and researcher at UCLM<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Berna Mart\u00ednez Romero<br \/>\nManager and designer of the website carnavaldemiguelturra.es and author of the book &#8220;Get to Know Me, Carnival of Miguelturra&#8221;. 40th Anniversary of the Pe\u00f1as Association&#8217;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jorge Francisco Jim\u00e9nez Jim\u00e9nez<br \/>\nDirector of Art History at the Adult Education School of Albacete and the UNED in Quintanar de la Orden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the presentations are over, there will be a wine tasting, with the collaborating entities of these cultural days being: Reconquista Wineries, Calatrava Cultural Park and Provincial Council of Ciudad Real.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lastly, this second edition of Sabores del Carnaval will feature for the first time a &#8216;Children&#8217;s Masterclass on fruit in a frying pan&#8217;
