Javier Ruiz will deliver the opening speech at the Carnival Palace and kick off the town&#8217;s most emblematic festival with its quintessential figure, the Street Mask. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moh\u00edno has outlined all the activities that will take place over these intense ten days. The program maintains the structure of events from previous years, many of them well-established.  The most important new features are the increase in the number of prizes in the National Contest of Pi\u00f1ata Sunday and the change of route, which will be the reverse of previous years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another important new feature announced by the president of the Cultural Association of Pe\u00f1as is the possibility for mothers and fathers to access the CERE on the day of the children&#8217;s carnival. They will be able to do so in a designated area separate from the children. <\/p>\n<h5>The major masks close the presentation<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presentation concluded with speeches by the outgoing and incoming major masks. They begin with the live broadcast of the program &#8220;Today in Ciudad Real&#8221; on Cadena SER from the Carnival Museum. <\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">8:00 PM<br \/>\nInaugural Proclamation<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Concentration in the Spain Square of the carnival family to receive Javier Ruiz and with the inaugural chupinazo start the 2024 Carnivals. Together we will travel through Constitution Square, Esa\u00fa de Mar\u00eda streets, Pradillo de Claver\u00eda and Doctor Fleming Park to visit the Carnival Museum at the CERE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>9:00 PM<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the Carnival Palace (CERE), opening speech by Javier Ruiz. Once the proclamation is over, we will present the prize to the winner of the Carnival 2024 poster contest, Bernardo Ballesteros.
