Miguelturra Carnival<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-lec6grgi-e08d9c22c5417658df10a3cb3a22d5e4 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the afternoon of Saturday, February 10, in the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, hundreds of people gathered dressed in costume to accompany the new Major Masks of the Miguelturra Carnival, all organized by the Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The delegation first went to the home of the new Major Masks, Rafa and M\u00aa Luisa, and later and as usual, the Pe\u00f1a de los Cansaliebres offered the participants a snack at their headquarters to regain strength and head to the Palace of the Carnival for the proclamation of the new pairs of Major Masks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M\u00aa Luisa and Rafa will be the 51st couple of Major Masks of the Miguelturra Carnival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arriving at a packed Carnival Palace, first of all the bands of the 1996 Major Masks, Francisco Molina and Loli Mu\u00f1oz, 1999 Major Mask, Cipri Mu\u00f1oz, were renewed; Major Masks of 2000, Gregorio Barahona and Lorenza S\u00e1nchez and finally Major Masks of 2001, Santiago Matas and Rita Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next, the Mayor of the town, Luis Ram\u00f3n Moh\u00edno, councilor for culture and celebrations, Carmen Mar\u00eda Moh\u00edno, President of the Association of Pe\u00f1as, Raul Dom\u00ednguez, King of the Carnival, Seraf\u00edn Delgado, President of the Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres, Alberto Soria, took the stage, Major Masks of 2023, Jos\u00e9 Luis, Encarni, Leandro and Charo, to impose the bands, deliver the diplomas accrediting as Major Masks and ceramics of Carnival 2024 to the new couple of Major Masks, Rafael G\u00f3mez and M\u00aa Luisa Oca\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Juli\u00e1n Margot\u00f3n and M\u00aa Nieves Pat\u00f3n, representing the Major Masks Pe\u00f1a, delivered the corresponding bouquets of flowers.<\/p>\n<p>The event ended with the great family photo of relatives and friends of the Major Masks 2024, Rafa and M\u00aa Luisa.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<div
