Miguelturra City Council opens the call, on a competitive basis, for the awarding of the prizes for the Pi\u00f1ata Sunday contest of the Miguelturra Carnival 2025, a festival of National Tourist Interest, with the aim of promoting carnival activity and promoting and supporting initiatives that make the cultural life of the population grow. The call for the 2025 Awards is being made public, which will be governed by the rules detailed below. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>BASES<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><strong>1.-<\/strong> OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CALL<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of this call is to award various prizes on the occasion of the Miguelturra Carnival Pi\u00f1ata Sunday contest, a Festival of National Tourist Interest, for the promotion and growth of the population&#8217;s carnival activity.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>2.- MODALITIES OF PARTICIPATION <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three modalities of participation are established, to which the groups must sign up previously:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>FLOATS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that do it with one or more floats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>COMPARSAS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that parade with a music band, musical group and\/or brass band, and that do not carry floats and music coming from public address equipment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MURGAS<\/strong>: Pe\u00f1as or Associations that parade without live music or with music from public address equipment and that are not included in the previous categories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It will be the exclusive responsibility of each group to choose the category in which it considers it meets the established requirements.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>3.- PRIZES <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following prizes and categories are established.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ALHIG\u00cd AWARD OF HONOR FROM THE MIGUELTURRA CITY COUNCIL<\/strong>&nbsp;for the best staging of the parade, float and troupe. SPECIAL OF 2,500 Euros<\/p>\n<h6><strong>FLOAT CATEGORY<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>1st.- Prize: 1,800 Euros. Sponsored by Miguelturra City Council<\/p>\n<p>2nd.- Prize: 1,300 Euros. Sponsored by Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 1,000 Euros. Sponsored by Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres<\/p>\n<p>4th.- Prize: 500 Euros. Sponsored by Miguelturra City Council<\/p>\n<p>5th.- Prize: 400 Euros. Sponsored by Sacra Distributions<\/p>\n<h6><strong>COMPARSAS CATEGORY<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>1st.- Prize: 900 Euros. Sponsored by Prieto Automobiles (\u20ac150) and Miguelturra City Council (\u20ac650)<\/p>\n<p>2nd.- Prize: 700 Euros. Sponsored by Maphre Seguros (\u20ac150) and Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres (\u20ac550)<\/p>\n<p>3rd.- Prize: 500 Euros. Sponsored by Inmober (\u20ac100) and Miguelturra City Council (\u20ac400)<\/p>\n<p>4th.- Prize: 400 Euros. Sponsored by Preventiva Seguros<\/p>\n<p>5th Prize: 300 Euros. (\u20ac300) and CEPSA The Star (\u20ac200)<\/p>\n<p>4th.- Prize: 400 Euros. Sponsored by Globalcaja<\/p>\n<p>5th.- Prize: 300 Euros.&nbsp;Sponsored by Merkamueble<\/p>\n<p>6th.- Prize: 200 Euros. Sponsored by Tol Luz (\u20ac100), Jani Grill Restaurant (\u20ac50) and Pe\u00f1a Los Cansaliebres (\u20ac50)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All participating groups that have met these rules will be presented with local Ham and Cheese, &#8220;Vi\u00f1a Cuerva&#8221; Wine and ceramics from Carnival 2025, as long as they meet the established requirements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The organization will not pay any amount for travel subsidy or postage to the participants.<\/p>\n<h6><strong> 4.- PARTICIPANTS AND CONDITIONS <\/strong><strong>FOR THE PI\u00d1ATA SUNDAY NATIONAL FLOAT AND SHOW CONTEST<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1st.- All Pe\u00f1as, Associations or homogeneous groups of more than 20 people from all over the national territory may participate. The number of registrations will be limited to<strong>&nbsp;35 in strict order of application<\/strong>, except for the clubs and groups awarded in the 2024 call, which are automatically registered although they must express their attendance. The non-ratification of the same will give place to the supporters clubs that remain in reserve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2\u00ba.- Registration, which will be free, will be held at the House of Culture of the Hon. Miguelturra City Council, Tel.: 926 241090, communicating the following information: name of the Association, number of members, name of the representative or spokesperson, DNI, address, telephone number and dimensions of the float (if it is carried), and category for which they compete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3\u00ba.- Each group must carry in front and in a prominent place a poster showing the town they come from and their name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4\u00ba.- The presence of animals in the parade must be previously approved by the Department of Celebrations, due to the possible risk of causing unforeseen accidents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5\u00ba.- From 15:00 hours Civil Protection will be organising the concentration that will take place in the vicinity of Primero de Mayo Avenue, with the parade having the following route: Calle Don Jos\u00e9 Mora, Spain Square, Streets Carnival, Carretas and Pozuelo, ending in the vicinity of Parquesol. The concentration will be at 15.30 hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6\u00ba.- The Pe\u00f1as or Associations must follow the instructions indicated by the Organization, Local Police and Civil Protection during the entire route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7\u00ba.- Failure to comply with the instructions may be subject, in the opinion of the Jury, to possible disqualification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8\u00ba.- The Jury, which will be itinerant, will be made up of a number of persons of recognised solvency and their decisions will be final. Within each category, the float, music, choreography, number of members and costumes, as well as originality, staging and good aesthetic taste will be specially valued.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9\u00ba.- Each participating Pe\u00f1a, Association or Group may only opt for one prize in its category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10\u00ba.- The Jury may not leave any of the prizes void.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">11\u00ba.- Prizes will be awarded at the end of the parade at the Carnival Palace (CERE) located in Dr. Fleming Park. At the prize-giving ceremony, at least two members must go up dressed in the costumes of the parade. The payment of the prizes will be made after the celebration of the competition, and once the winners have provided the necessary information for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">12\u00ba.- All prizes will be subject to the withholdings provided by law.<\/p>\n<p>13\u00ba.- Any club that is not positioned in its number at the time of departure must wait until the end of the parade to be able to participate.<\/p>\n<p>14\u00ba.- Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of the previous rules.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>5.- ADVERTISING <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The full text of this call for entries can be accessed on the Miguelturra Town Hall website: www.miguelturra.es, in the Carnival area, competitions section.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the publicity of any call subject to the General Subsidies Law, it will be given the widest possible dissemination among those who may be interested.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>6.- MANAGEMENT BODY <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For any query or clarification of this call, you can contact the Department of Celebrations of the Hon. will be governed by what is established in its regulatory bases in this call, in what is not foreseen, Law 38\/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies and its development provisions, the Bases for Execution of the Budget of the Miguelturra City Council for 2025 and other state or regional regulations that may be applicable will apply.<\/p>\n<p>What is made public for general
