February 28th will mark the official start. Gloria Santoro will proclaim the festivities with her inaugural speech at the Carnival Palace, giving free rein to the town&#8217;s most emblematic festival and its quintessential figure, the Street Mask.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moh\u00edno has outlined all the activities that will take place over these intense ten days. The program maintains the structure of events from previous years, many of them well-established. <\/p>\n<h4>More news<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another novelty will be the mural of pe\u00f1as that will be located inside the Carnival Museum. He also wanted to thank the media for their presence, as well as the companies and sponsors for their support, such as municipal workers, the Association of Clubs and the Clubs that make it up, the biggest masks, the king of the carnival and those who make the celebration of this festival possible with their effort and work. <\/p>\n<h4>A very complete programming<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The president of the Association of Clubs, Ra\u00fal Dom\u00ednguez, indicated that we have a very complete program, thanking the efforts of all the people and clubs behind these activities, asking for respect and civility during the celebration of this emblematic festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The &#8220;less serious&#8221; part, as always, is provided by our Carnival King, Seraf\u00edn Delgado, exchanging jokes with the attendees, especially with the Major Masks. He explained that &#8220;now he&#8217;s left with nothing to do&#8221; that before, he had to travel around town twenty times to get Major Masks. Now, everything is wonderful; we already know them months in advance, and it doesn&#8217;t take much effort to convince them.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As is his custom, he asked for good weather during the Carnival celebrations, although it always needs rain to allow people to enjoy themselves during these days. He ended by inviting those who wish to eat at the meals held by the Pe\u00f1as on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, along with a sip of wine or lemonade. <\/p>\n<h4>An unforgettable year<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Major Masks took over the performances. Rafa and M\u00aa Luisa commented that for them, &#8216;it has been an unforgettable, magnificent year, very different from what they have experienced in other years&#8217;. They hoped that their predecessors would have at least as good a time as they did, that they would not be thirsty and would guide them on the right path. Of course, you will be sleepy and tired, but you will feel the pride of having been Major Masks of the Miguelturra Carnival. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They ended up indicating and referring to Esther and Berna, &#8216;You are not going to stop, there are many events, we go to all the places, but then it flies by. You have to let yourself go and enjoy, but above all we will be with you and we will have the best time possible&#8217;. <\/p>\n<h4>Enjoy and have a great time<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Berna and Esther concluded their remarks by thanking the speakers, especially Rafa and M\u00aa Luisa, for their support and advice. They also invited everyone to have a great time with them, telling Seraf\u00edn that they were going to enjoy themselves as much as they could, even if it meant holding an umbrella. After the opening speech, we will present the prize to Bernardo Ballesteros, the winner of the 2025 Carnival poster contest.
