The Second Carnival Showcase Contest is underway

The following awards are established: for originality and innovation, for best composition and design, and a special public award.

The presentation ceremony was attended by Diego Rodríguez, Councilor for Festivities; Miguel Fernández, Councilor for Economic Promotion; José Luis León, member of the Small Business Association; Serafín Delgado, as Carnival King and representing the Miguelturra Carnival Association; and José María Crespo, coordinator of the Employment Launch Pad.

All retail and wholesale commercial establishments in Miguelturra and all those establishments that have a showcase, such as an office, training center, among others, may participate in the contest.

Registration for the contest is free and must be completed at the Miguelturra Cultural Center. The registration period runs from January 15th to 25th, and the display must be completed and displayed between January 29th and February 18th.

The following prizes are established:

– Award for originality and innovation, you will receive a gift voucher sponsored by Distribuciones Sacra.
– The award for best composition and design will include a travel gift voucher sponsored by Viajes Rodrigo and Rodrigo’s Real Estate.
– Special public award: you will receive a travel gift voucher sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council.

All of them will also receive 30 advertising spots on Radio Miguelturra, an 8×11 advertisement in the April BIM (Municipal News Bulletin), a carnival mask, and an accreditation certificate.

The jury will visit the participating showcases and announce its verdict during the 33rd Museo del Carnaval Costume Competition, which will be held on February 16. The winners will be notified in advance so they can attend the awards ceremony.

The special public award will be awarded by vote cast in a ballot box located at the House of Culture.

From January 29th until 2:00 p.m. on February 15th, this vote can be cast, accompanied by a voucher stamped by one of the participating establishments.

From the vouchers deposited in the box, a drawing will be held to award three purchase vouchers, redeemable at any of the participating establishments and valued at 50 euros each. sponsored by Distribuciones Sacra, Viajes Rodrigo, Rodrigo’s Inmobiliaria, and the Small Business Association.

The owners of the establishments participating in the contest will not be eligible for the draw. The communication of the winners will be made by telephone and will be made public by the municipal media. The prizes are not accumulative.
