Rules X Drag Queen Contest

Venue: Carnival Palace (CERE).

AWARDS:

– First Prize: 1000 euros + Band + Mask
– Second Prize: 800 euros + Band
– Third Prize: 500 euros + Band

A maximum of 10 participants may participate in order of registration.

RULES:

  1. All persons or groups with a maximum of 6 components may participate.
  2. Each participant must meet the following conditions and provide the following data:A. All members must be of legal age (dancers, assistants…)
    B. Attach the registration form attached to the registration form.
    C. Use a platform higher than 18 cm.
    D. Do not exceed the performance time by more than 5 minutes.
    E. Attach music from the performance in MP3 format with a 320-bit BITRATE. (If the form does not allow uploading the files, they must be sent by wetransfer to galadragqueenelpuntillo@gmail.com)
  3. Participants may not display any type of advertising, or disrespectfully attempt against people and institutions.
  4. It is totally FORBIDDEN to use ANIMALS in the performance.
  5. They may use elements with their own electrical energy devices (battery or batteries) and under no circumstances will the use of pyrotechnic material be permitted.
  6. The staging must be original and free in theme without having been presented in previous editions.
  7. The order of performance will be established by drawing one hour before the contest. Therefore, participants must be at least half an hour before said draw. The participant who arrives after this half hour will not be able to participate in the contest, but may act if he or she wishes but without entering the contest.
  8. QUALIFIING JURY. The members of the jury, the secretary and the president will be chosen by the artistic direction of the contest.
  9. SCORES. The fantasy and originality of the costumes, vocal performance, choreography, humor, makeup and compliance with the rules will be valued.
    Each section will be scored from 0 to 10 points, the sum of all of them will be the total.
