Friday, February 20th, once the Carnival Museum Costume Contest has ended.

“Chirigotas and Comparsas” Competition of the Miguelturra Carnival 2026
Venue: Carnival Palace (CERE).

1. All groups or clubs that wish to take part may take part, provided they have a minimum of 10 members. Participants will register until Friday, February 13th at the Casa de Cultura, Calle Perlerines, 26 in Miguelturra. Three copies of the lyrics to be performed will be handed out at the time of the performance to facilitate the jury’s decision..
2. The number of groups is limited to a maximum of 6.
3. The order of the performances will be in charge of the organization.
4. The performance of each group may not exceed 20 minutes. The jury will take into account punctuality and non-interference in the proper development of the contest. The jury will be made up of people specialized in the subject and their decisions will be final, and some prizes may be declared void.
