The carnival delegation included the president of the Association of Peñas Carnival, Diego Rodríguez Tercero, the Major Masks 2025 Carnival, Berna Martínez and Esther Martínez, the future Major Masks 2026, Juan Carlos Pérez and Miguel Ángel Ruiz, representatives from the Carnival Peñas and our Street Carnival.
Long live the Miguelturra Carnival!
With enthusiastic cries of “Long live the Miguelturra Carnival!”, the large group of participants arrived at the fair in their finest attire. Their dances and carnival songs filled the pavilions and stands with joy, spreading their festive spirit to all attendees. A vibrant display that reaffirms why our carnival holds the title of National Tourist Interest.
The large screen in the Castilla-La Mancha region became the showcase for the new local tourism video. The video aims to captivate viewers by highlighting the essence of Carnival and the area’s rich heritage. Among the featured images are monuments such as the Torre Gorda, the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, and the Casa de la Capellanía, along with exceptional natural landscapes like the Sierra de San Isidro and the village of Peralvillo.
Carnival cuisine took center stage with a tasting of pan-fried fruit. Attendees also enjoyed the Alhiguí photo booth, where they had the opportunity to have their picture taken with their face superimposed on the figure of this popular character from the Churriego carnival.
