Once the Carnival Museum Costumes contest was over, the 2020 Miguelturra Carnival Murgas and Chirigotas Contest began in its fortieth edition.

The picaresque and mockery about local and national politics, technology, Satisfyer, men and women, no one escaped the verses of the participating chirigotas, performed with great humor.

The jury composed of José Vicente Romero, Javier Vallejo, Antonio Vallejo, Víctor López and Inmaculada Martín de Lucía, awarded the following prizes:

1st Prize 600 euros, The Crystal Ball of Puertollano

2nd Prize 450 euros, The Flamingos of the Ravine by Torralba de Calatrava

3rd Prize 400 euros, Remiro the Cautious of Córdoba

4th Prize 250 euros, Peña Los Cansaliebres by Miguelturra

5th Prize 200 euros, Great Reserve by Pedro Muñoz
