The frying pan fruit contest and the Street Mask protagonists of Carnival Monday
At 12:30 p.m. the XXXVIII Frying Pan Fruit Contest began at the CERE facilities, with the presence of the Mayor of Miguelturra, Laura Arriaga, Councilor for Celebrations, Diego Rodríguez, members of the Municipal Corporation, 2020 major masks, Manolo and Mª Carmen, and the 2022 major masks, Antonio and Gloria.
La Peña los Rocheros, have been the organizers of the event and Octavio Martín has prepared the lemon, which as always is exquisite. The SER channel broadcast live during the celebration of the act.

All the prizes have been sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council, consisting of 60 euros for the first and 40 euros for the second, they have also received a case of liquors sponsored by La Gaditana, the traditional Carnival Ceramics and an apron sponsored by Puerta del Sol.
Throughout the day, the Street Masks have filled the Carnival street with joy and color, pranking the naive passers-by by shouting, Don’t you know me?
The El Puntillo, Masks Major and La Cabra Peñas have set the main streets of the town with the brass bands Alhiguí, Kata Pum Chinpum, Los del Ritmo and Ateneo Cultural.
