The Peña Los Cansaliebres once again open the Churriego pre-carnival.
The fifth edition of the Miguelturra pre-carnival comes from Cádiz with the chirigota Los Quemasangre, led by José Luis Garcia Cossio “El Selu”, who came third in the 2019 COAC final.
It will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 9:00 p.m. in the CERE hall in Miguelturra. The doors of the Carnival Palace will open half an hour before the start of the show.
Tickets are now available for advance purchase at Miguelturra, Panadería Bollería Fegopan, and the Casa de Cultura, located in Ciudad Real at El Patio de mi Casa. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 610665737 or through any member of the Peña Los Cansaliebres. Tickets are available at the box office for 13 euros.

The chirigota los Borrachos (1992) is possibly the best of all time.
José Luis García Cossio, better known in the Cadiz Carnival world as El Selu, is one of the most successful authors in the Chirigotas category.
Five first places, five second places, and eight third places, making him one of the regular performers in the COAC chirigota finals.
Outside of chirigota, El Selu has worked as a scriptwriter for Los Morancos and written various scripts for various television production companies, as well as being a contributor for Canal Sur Radio.
