Bases IX Contest of Costumes with Recycled Materials

Tuesday, February 13th at 4:30 p.m. Organized by the Cansaliebres Association and supported by the Youth Department

  1. Anyone aged 14 and over is welcome to participate, either individually or in groups. Groups must be composed of a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10.
  2. Date and venue: February 13, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. at the CERE.
  3. Only recycled materials may be used.
  4. Participants must make their costumes on the day of the contest, using recycled materials they collect and bring with them.
  5. The organizers will provide additional materials: scissors, staplers, newspaper, cardboard, glue, face paint, etc. The costume takes two hours to complete. To speed up the costume making process, we recommend bringing scissors and/or a box cutter.
  6. Registration will be open until February 13th at the Youth Center, Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., by calling 926160628, extensions 1 or 3, or by email: centrojoven@aytomiguelturra.es.
  7. Prizes:
    Individual category: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable at Mírame
    Group category: 200 euros, redeemable for dinner at a local bar, sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council
    Most original and creative costume: 60 euros, redeemable at any small business in Miguelturra, sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council
