At 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, the “Los Ángeles de la Guarda” troupe, led by the Carapapa brothers, began their performance at the Paz Theater-Cinema in Miguelturra. The event was organized by the local Peña los Cansaliebres.

Throughout their performance, the troupe managed to get the audience off their feet, receiving applause on numerous occasions, but especially with the performance of the pasodoble dedicated to Xabi, the three-year-old boy who died as a victim of the cruel jihadist attack on Las Ramblas in Barcelona.

At the end of the performance, the president of the Peña los Cansaliebres, Alberto Soria, and the president of the Miguelturra Carnival Association, Raúl Domínguez, presented the members of the group with a beautiful souvenir of the Miguelturra Carnival.

Among those attending the event were Carnival King Serafín Delgado and Councilor for Celebrations Diego Rodríguez.
