Bases VII Contest Your Mask Sounds Familiar

Thursday, March 7th at 7:30 p.m. Organized by Peña el Puntillo, with the following collaborators: Youth Department and Festivities Department

  1. Anyone who wishes to participate may do so in two categories: CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH TYPE, for groups of children or individuals, for those under 14 years of age, and ADULT TYPE, for those 15 years of age and older, for individuals or groups. The groups must be composed of a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 12.
  2. Each participant must be characterized by a singer or group, the one they choose themselves when performing their performance.
  3. All performances will be in “playback”.
  4. The language chosen for the interpretation of the themes will be irrelevant.
  5. Each performance will have a maximum time of five minutes.
  6. Registration will take place until 2:00 p.m. from February 26th to March 6th at the Casa de Cultura. Each participant will provide the names of the group members, the name of the group or singer they will represent, the chosen title, and a CD and USB flash drive with the recording of the song they will perform. The number of registrations is limited to 3 in the Children’s modality and 12 performances in the Adult modality by strict order of application.
  7. Prizes:
    CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH Category

    Three prizes for school supplies valued at 150 euros, sponsored by MyPaper
    Three prizes for a Children’s Art Workshop valued at 50 euros each, sponsored by CatBox – Miguelturra Academy of Visual Arts

    Individual ADULT modality

    First prize: 150 euros
    Second prize: 100 euros
    Third prize: 50 euros

    ADULT Group mode

    First prize: 200 euros
    Second prize: 150 euros
    Third prize: 100 euros

  8. The jury will evaluate the characterization and interpretation of each participant’s work in relation to the chosen artist.
  9. The jury’s decision will be unappealable, and some of the prizes may remain deserted.
  10. Parents or guardians of children under 18 years of age must sign the authorization form for filming, recording, and reproduction (photographic and visual) by authorized means, which will be provided upon registration.
  11. Participation in the contest means acceptance of these rules.
