Bases IX Contest of Costumes with Recycled Materials

Tuesday, February 13 at 4:30 p.m. Peña Cansaliebres organizes and collaborates with the Youth Area

  1. All people who wish may participate from 14 years in the individual or group. The groups must be composed of 5 people minimum and 10 maximum.
  2. Date and place of celebration: February 13, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. in the CERE.
  3. Only recycled materials may be used.
  4. Participants must make the costume on the day of the contest, with recycled materials that they collect and contribute the day of the contest.
  5. The organization will provide complementary materials: scissors, staplers, newspaper, cardboard, glue, face paint… for its implementation are set two hours. To expedite the elaboration of the suit, it is recommended to take scissors and/or cutter.
  6. Registration will take place until February 13 at the Youth Center from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and afternoons from Monday to Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at 926160628 extensions 1 or 3 or by e-mail: centrojoven@aytomiguelturra.es.
  7. Awards:
    Individual mode: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable in Mírame
    Group mode: 200 euros, redeemable for a dinner at a local bar, sponsored by the City Council of Miguelturra

Bases Contest Leaving Footprint 2018

Monday, February 12 at 4:30 p.m. Organized by Peña Kapikua

Place of Celebration: Doctor Fleming Park

  1. The objective of this contest is the exhibition of disguised animals accompanied by their owners.
  2. To participate you must register at the House of Culture until February 9, providing the owner’s name, name of the pet and title of the theme they represent. The contest will consist of 20 places.
    *If there were places left, starting on February 9 and until 1:00 p.m. of February 12, registrations will be made through Facebook: Kapikua Miguelturra (by private message).
  3. You can participate any animal you want, regardless of breed, species and size (dogs, chickens, horses, cats, goats, rabbits …).
  4. It will be valued that the participating owners go disguised the same or the same theme as their pet.
  5. The owners will be the only responsible for any altercation that your animal may produce.
    The owners are required to have the necessary means to collect the depositions of their animals and keep the place of the contest clean.
  6. Participants must be 15 minutes before the start of the contest to verify that the requirements are met and provide documentation if necessary (Dogs and cats: veterinary card, and for all other short leash).
  7. Those participants that the organization considers that there is any type of animal mistreatment will be disqualified.
  8. The jury will be made up of qualified and knowledgeable people. It will be taken into account at the time of scoring the presence, the preparation of the design, the fantasy and the sympathy of the costume. The decision of the jury will be unappealable.
  9. AWARDS:
    1st, 2nd and 3rd, Vouchers of 50 euros sponsored by the City Council of Miguelturra and exchangeable in DIDÍ or Symbiosis
    4th, 5th and 6th, Sacks of feed of 15 kg (valued at 45 euros) sponsored and exchangeable in Symbiosis
    7th, 8th and 9th, Sacks of feed of 3 kg (valued at 12 euros) sponsored and exchangeable in Symbiosis
    SPECIAL PRIZE, Voucher of 45 euros to the best disguise among all those that are made with recycled materials (bricks, bottles, badges, cardboard, etc.), sponsored and redeemable in DIDÍ
    *No prize can be deserted.
  10. Participation in the contest will mean full acceptance of all the bases.
Bases XXXV Fruit Contest in Frying Pan

Monday, February 12 at 12:30 h. Organized by Peña Los Rocheros

  1. Participants can register at the Carnival Palace (CERE) until half an hour before the contest, which will be at 12:30. No person under the age of 18 can register.
  2. Each participant will be given a bottle of oil for every two forms presented and a bottle for roscapiña.
  3. Each contestant will present a plate with 6 units with each of the two specialties to which it is presented (borrachuelas, flowers, waffles and donuts). Only those contestants who come personally providing name, surname and D.N.I, not admitting the registration by third parties will be admitted.
  4. The following awards are established:
    1st and 2nd of Roscapiña
    1st and 2nd Flowers
    1st and 2nd of Waffles
    1st and 2nd of Donuts
    1st and 2nd of BorrachuelasThe 1st prizes will be sponsored by the School of Natural Cooking Chef of the town, with two cooking courses, valued at 70 euros each first prize.
    The 2nd prizes will be sponsored by “El Colmao” and “Hecón, Construction Tools” of the town, with a batch of typical products, valued at 40 euros each lot.
    All the winners will receive a gift sponsored by the City Council of Miguelturra and a liquor box sponsored by “La Gaditana”
  5. Once the contest has ended and the prizes have failed, the entire audience will be given a tasting of the products of the contest and a tasty lemon, from our friend Octavio.
  6. The pieces must be brought home, the presentation and tasting will be rewarded.
  7. To participate you must prove the age of majority.
Bases Volleyball Masked 2018

Sunday, February 11 at 4:30 p.m. Organized by ADV Miguelturra and Peña El Bufón

  1. All people over 16 years old, organized in teams of 4 people, will be able to participate. At all times there will be 3 players on track and one on the bench.
  2. The teams may be male, female or mixed, without distinction of category.
  3. They must register at least 4 teams to celebrate the tournament. Otherwise, it will be suspended. The maximum number of teams will be 20, chosen by strict order of registration.
  4. All participants must go in disguise.
  5. The competition system will be “king of the track” with a maximum of three games followed by a team. You can re-enter to play as many times as you wish during the 2 hours of activity.
  6. The matches will be played to a single set of 11 points.
  7. It will be played following the official rules of beach volleyball.
  8. The inscriptions will be made in the same place of realization of the activity from one hour before the start of the activity until 15 minutes before the start.
  9. Awards:
    Winner of the Tournament¹: 50 euros, sponsored and exchangeable in Las Tejas Restaurant
    Team best disguised: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable in Cafetería Ramón
    Most fun team²: 50 euros, sponsored and redeemable at Café-Bar La Hermana Angela
  10. The jury will be composed of members of the El Bufón and ADV Miguelturra.
  11. The decision of the jury will be unappealable, and may be desert prizes.
  12. The organization is not responsible for any injury or accident that may occur during the event.
  13. The participants authorize the organizers to take photographs and / or videos of the participants during the event, which can then be used in public media (internet, press …) for promotional and informative purposes.
  14. Participation in the contest means acceptance of these rules.

    ¹ The sport quality and originality of the plays will be evaluated.
    ² Sportsmanship and the carnival spirit will be valued.

Bases III Charangas Contest

Organized by Peña El Puntillo and sponsored by Miguelturra City Council

  1. The charangas contest will be held on February 9, 2018 after the opening speech.
  2. The inscriptions will be made in the house of culture, located in C/ Perlerines nº 26 of Miguelturra or through the email cultura@ayto-miguelturra.es. The inscriptions will end one week before the start of the contest.
  3. Each charanga will be composed of a minimum of 8 components and a maximum of 20.
  4. The number of participating charangas will be of 6 maximum.
  5. The duration of each participating charanga will not exceed 15 minutes on stage.
  6. No musician can participate in more than one charanga during the duration of the contest.
  7. The jury will be composed of 5 people chosen by the organization. The jury’s decision is final.
  8. Each one of the members of the jury will qualify according to the following criteria:
    Choreography: 10% (from 0 to 10 points)
    Costumes: 10% (from 0 to 10 points)
    Interaction with the public and animation: 10% (from 0 to 10 points)
    Staging: 20% (from 0 to 20 points)
    Sound quality, tuning and interpretation: 50% (from 0 to 50 points)
  9. The participation in this contest implies the acceptance of these bases, as well as the decisions adopted by the organizing committee in its execution, development and interpretation, of all the issues not foreseen in them.
  10. The following prizes will be awarded:
    1st prize: 600 euros and Carnival pottery
    2nd prize: 300 euros and Carnival pottery
    3rd prize: 200 euros and Carnival pottery
    4th prize: 100 euros and Carnival pottery

    The prizes may be declared deserted, if the jury so deemed it.
