Sunday, March 9th, marked the culmination of the Miguelturra Carnival, a festival declared of National Tourist Interest, which the weather couldn’t stop. There was a great atmosphere in the streets and an extraordinary Piñata Sunday parade.

Harúspides with Around the World in Eighty Days arrived from Tomelloso to win the Alhiguí de Honor and a special prize in the float category. Los Rocheros were the winners in the comparsas category with The Nereids and The Jewel of the Ocean. In the murga category, the first prize went to Porzuna, with La Unión and its tribute to Cabañeros National Park.
