Last Sunday, January 29, Tarazona de la Mancha returned the visit that was made by Miguelturra last November.

The mayor of Tarazona, Miguel Zamora, accompanied by Juana Serrano, councilor for Festejos and Segundo Jiménez, president of the supporters clubs, led the procession made up of some 70 people from the town of Albacete.

Upon their arrival, they were received by the mayoress Laura Arriaga, the councilor for Festejos, Diego Rodríguez, president of the Peñas Association, Raúl Domínguez, King of Carnival, Serafín Delgado, Máscaras Mayores of 2022 and 2023, members of the municipal corporation, as well as different people belonging to local peñas.

In the carnival museum and after the corresponding interventions by both delegations, different memories of this day of twinning were exchanged, two very similar carnivals with a great history.

Those attending this event were able to enjoy visits to the Carnival Museum (MOMO), Hermitage of the Holy Christ of Mercy, Casa de Chaplaincy, Statues and Murals. In the Constitution Plaza, a totem was discovered in homage to this twinning, with the 1993 copla by Octavio Martín.
