The multifunctional auditorium was the chosen venue for the return of Carnival to Miguelturra. On September 11th, starting at 8:00 p.m., we were able to enjoy the chirigota “Los #Cadizfornia” and Vera Luque’s anthology. This chirigota won first prize at the 2020 COAC. Later, the comparsa “La Chusma Selecta” and Martínez Ares’ anthology. This comparsa also won second prize at the 2020 COAC and closed the event that gave us back a piece of our Carnival. All thanks to the efforts of the Peña Los Cansaliebres.

The event was held in compliance with all health measures against Covid-19.

There was a desire for carnival and with an auditorium that almost filled the allowed capacity, the chirigotero surfers of Vera Luque “Los #Cadizfornia” and La comparsa de Martínez Ares “La Chusma Selecta” and their musical poetry, have once again given us hope of May we soon be able to enjoy our great party, the most emblematic party of Miguelturra, El Carnaval.
