The Peña Los Cansaliabres of Miguelturra, first prize in the Contest of Chirigotas and Comparsas

The Miguelturra Carnival is moving forward. Once the Carnival Museum Costume Contest concluded, the 2022 Chirigotas y Comparsas Contest began its thirty-eighth edition.

For the first time the Peña Los Cansaliabres of Miguelturra, get the first prize, with their verses loaded with irony and criticism of what has happened in recent times in Miguelturra, they also paid an emotional tribute and memory to their partner Paco.

Miguelturra Carnival 2022 Chirigotas and Comparsas Contest Awards:

1st Prize 600 euros, Peña Los Cansaliebres of Miguelturra

2nd Prize 450 euros, The Flamingos of the Ravine by Torralba de Calatrava

3rd Prize 400 euros, Los Piruetas of Córdoba

4th Prize 250 euros, Gran Reserva of Pedro Muñoz

All prizes have been sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council
