The second Saturday night of the Miguelturra Carnival brought us back to the Carnival Palace. The 10th Drag Queen Gala filled the venue, allowing us to enjoy a wealth of artistry during this event organized by the Peña El Puntillo.

Four contestants and the brilliant presentation of Soberbia Malibú, who led an act where the jury had a very difficult time assessing the fantasy and originality of the costumes, the vocal performance, choreography, humor, makeup and compliance with the rules.

Drag Dito Devil took first prize, followed by Drag Fantasy and Drag Papri Ka. The Carnival Palace was completely packed on Saturday night as we enjoyed the final hours of Carnival 2026.

The representation of carnival authorities was extensive, headed by Serafín Delgado (King of Carnival) and including Juan Carlos and Miguel Ángel (Major Masks 2026), Berna and Esther (Major Masks 2025). Also present were Diego Rodríguez (President of the Association of Carnival Groups) and Julián Margotón (Councilor for Families).

X DRAG QUEEN GALA AWARDS 2026:

• 1st Prize consisting of €1,000, carnival ceramics and a sash, sponsored by Miguelturra City Council, for Drag Dito Devil.
• 2nd Prize endowed with 800 € and a sash, sponsored by Miguelturra City Council, for Drag Fantasy.
• 3rd Prize endowed with €500 and a sash, sponsored by Dibaocar SL, for Drag Papri Ka.
