Intense Carnival Tuesday

Music, confetti, masks, and all kinds of costumes on Carnival Tuesday.

This year’s Carnival Tuesday, 2025, was one of the most intense days of our festival.

The day kicked off with a parade and recognition of the Carnival Ambassadors. The people of Miguelturra once again took to the streets to enjoy their most beloved festival.

The peñas El Bufón, El Jamón, Los Fregquisimos, Los Segadores, Los Spartan@s and Herederos de Loquilandia celebrated their special day. Their typical dishes and brass bands, which are undoubtedly the best soundtrack to our carnival, paraded through the town’s streets.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., Spanish Square was once again completely filled, with groups of people and a large number of carnival-goers setting off on their usual journey, filling Carnival Street with color and confetti.

The usual Carnival dances on Tuesday night

While during the day there are usually activities organized by the Association of Peñas and the Department of Festivities, the evening offers those who want to continue enjoying the Carnival with traditional dances that close out the day’s carnival activities.

On this day, the Sonital Orchestra performed at the Carnival Palace, while the Yesvi Trio provided music at the Workers’ Center.
