On Saturday, June 15, the 5th Edition of the Summer Carnival was celebrated with great success in Miguelturra. A new edition organized by the Culture and Celebrations Area, together with the Carnival Peñas Association.

At 7:00 p.m., a large number of costumed people and carnival groups gathered in Plaza de España, in front of the Town Hall entrance, to kick off the fifth edition of the Miguelturra summer carnival.

The event was also attended by institutional and carnival authorities, including the Mayor of the town, Luis Ramón Mohíno, Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Carmen María Mohíno, members of the Municipal Corporation, president of the Association of Peñas, Raúl Donate Domínguez, Major Mask of 2024, Mª Luisa and Major Masks of 2023, Encarni, Charo, José Luis and Leandro.

We miss our major mask of 2024, Rafael Gómez, whom we wish a speedy recovery, good luck Rafa!!

The event is consolidated and takes the fairground as its usual setting

As usual, the older masks led the parade towards the fairgrounds, to the rhythm of a carnival and with the musical color of our brass bands.

A great evening and a splendid temperature, with a new novelty, the carnival foam party, which began around 9:00 p.m. for the enjoyment of the little ones… and not so little ones.

A fairground that little by little filled up to enjoy the 2024 Summer Carnival. This year it is animated by the La Sombra Orchestra, closing the event in the wee hours of the morning with the mobile disco with deejay.
