On Saturday, June 15, the 5th Edition of the Summer Carnival was celebrated in Miguelturra, organized by the Culture and Celebrations Area, together with the Association of Carnival Peñas.

At 7:00 p.m., a large number of costumed people and carnival groups gathered in the Spain Square, in front of the City Hall door, to begin the fifth edition of the summer carnival in Miguelturra, with the presence of the Mayor of the town, Luis Ramón Mohíno, Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, Carmen María Mohíno, members of the Municipal Corporation, president of the Association of Peñas, Raúl Donate Domínguez, Major Mask of 2024, Mª Luisa and 2023 Majors Masks, Encarni, Charo , José Luis and Leandro.

We miss our major mask of 2024, Rafael Gómez, whom we wish a speedy recovery, good luck Rafa!!

As usual, the older masks led the parade towards the fairgrounds, to the rhythm of a carnival and with the musical color of our brass bands.

A great evening and a splendid temperature, with a new novelty, the carnival foam party, which began around 9:00 p.m. for the enjoyment of the little ones… and not so little ones.

A fairground that little by little filled up to enjoy the 2024 Summer Carnival, this year animated by the The Shadow Orchestra, closing the event in the wee hours of the morning with the mobile disco with deejay.
