At 12:30 p.m. the XXXIX Fruit in a Pan Contest began at the CERE facilities, with the presence of the President of the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, the Mayor of Miguelturra, Laura Arriaga, Councilor for Festejos, Diego Rodríguez, members of the Municipal Corporation , older masks 2022, Antonio and Gloria, and the older masks 2023, Leandro, Charo, José Luis and Encarni. 

La Peña los Rocheros, have been the organizers of the event and Octavio Martín has prepared the lemon, which as always is exquisite. The SER channel broadcast live during the celebration of the act.

All the prizes have been sponsored by the Miguelturra City Council, consisting of 60 euros for the first and 40 euros for the second, they have also received a liquor case sponsored by La Gaditana, the traditional Carnival Ceramics, a bottle of oil and an apron sponsored by Sun Gate.

Throughout the day, the Street Masks have filled the Carnival street with joy and color, pranking the naive passers-by by shouting, Don’t you know me?

The El Puntillo, Major Maks and La Cabra Peñas have set the main streets of the town with the brass bands Alhiguí, Kata Pum Chinpum, Los Fallidos and Ateneo Cultural.
