The Miguelturra Carnival returns to the streets again

For the third time in its history, Miguelturra will celebrate its summer carnival.

Miguelturra returns to recover its Summer Carnival, it will be on Saturday June 18. Throughout the day different activities will be held and Street Masks will once again fill the streets with color and joy.

At 12:30 pm in the Plaza de España, the second monument dedicated to carnival will be inaugurated, an Alhiguí by the artist Fernando Kiriko, which will complete the work inaugurated in past carnivals.

At 1:00 pm in Doctor Fleming Park, performance by ‘Fleming Hills Carnival’ and presentation by Negus Tafari Sound System.

Starting at 12:30 p.m. and until 10:30 p.m. the Charangas el Bufón (12:30 to 3:30 p.m.), Kata Pun Chinpum (4:30 to 7:30 p.m.) and Alhiguí (from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.), will animate the carnival zones of the town.

At noon and from 2:00 p.m. in Doctor Fleming Park, popular paellada for 750 people. Price of 1 euro per serving for the benefit of AFANION (Association of Families of Children with Cancer of Castilla-La Mancha).

The main course of this summer carnival will come from the hand of ‘Ladilla Rusa’, starting at 11:00 p.m. in Doctor Fleming Park. We are going to be able to enjoy the songs from his album ‘Magical Costumbrism’ in a great concert for this third Miguelturra summer carnival. The local DJ Santi Tena will continue to animate the night until the body holds.
