A busy sunday

Diana, chocolate, children’s carnival, lunch with clubs, masked volleyball and brass band parade on the first Sunday of carnival.

An intense first Sunday of Carnival opened with the carnival reveille from the Ham Peña. In the Spanish Square, the Peña Los Maltrataos offered delicious hot chocolate and biscuits to recover from the intense Saturday of Carnival.

Organized by the Peña El Bufón, the children, accompanied by their families, gathered in the
Constitution Square at mid-morning. The parade then began, heading to the Carnival Palace, where hundreds of children enjoyed the children’s show “Sing-alongs Towards the Stars”.

In the afternoon, in the Doctor Fleming park, the Masked Volleyball was held, organized by the ADV Miguelturra and the Celebration Area of ​​the Miguelturra Town Hall.

Throughout the day the Peñas de Los Cansaliebres, Rocheros, Kapikúa and Alhiguí, have set the main carnival streets of the town, offering various dishes to be tasted, the brass bands Kata Pum Chinpum, Those who never Fail, Los Desmadraos and Alhiguí have set the musical note on this first and intense Sunday of carnival.
